Well I when back to Las Vegas I was really worry about flying and how I would handle the stress of flying. To my surprise everything when well no bathroom accidents. I did have one scare but I was in the room and just made it to restroom but that was it. I enjoy my 3 days of gambling but I always worry about the restroom. Things are much better then 2 months ago. I have good days and bad days but the good days are becoming more and more. I have a appointment with my rectal surgeon on Monday he will look in there to see everything in fine. Then on the 30th of this month I’m going in for a Cat-scan not to worry because they did one at the hospital about 3 weeks ago when I had stomach pain and everything came out fine. I feel like is finally getting back to normal. For all you people that are struggling with your reversal it does get better with time trust me I know now. Keep fighting.

novamomof2, back2maui like this.

Rick—
This is certainly great news! Life returning to normal is something we all look forward to and it sounds like you are getting there. I hope you had a good time in Vegas and went home with some bonus bucks! I wish you the best with your appt. on Monday and your upcoming scan. Please let us know how it goes. Take good care!

Martha

Rick,
Two months out and getting better. Just think how much better it will be in another two months, and then another 2 months…You are one very lucky person to be able to have a life that will get back to normal! Best wishes for a great day and a better future!

Bo

Hey there Rick, hope you at least broke even in Vegas! The news about recovery is pretty good, looks like you’ve adapted to the day by day changes. Hope it keeps up! It must be so nice having things slowly return to normal, good for you! Stacy

Rick,
I am glad you had a good trip. Thank you so much for sharing about how your reversal is going, and things slowly moving toward normal. You’re really making me feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel- thanks for the inspiration. Take care of yourself, and I know the scans are going to be just fine.

I just found out that my 8th grade teacher has passed away from Nasopharyngeal Cancer. He was a great guy and big inspiration in my life. He always push me to be the very best. He will be missed. Rest in peace Mr. D

Rick—
I’m sorry you have lost this very special person in your life. He would be very proud of how you’ve handled all of your recent challenges.

Martha

I am so sorry to hear of your loss! You honor him by sharing that he inspired you!
Melinda

Rick,
I am so sorry for your loss. Martha and Melinda are right- you honor him with your courage and conviction, and strength in your fight. Keep the inspiration flowing!

Kim

Rick,
I also am sorry for your loss. I do agree with Martha and Melinda, the best way to honor one’s life (and death) is by living a clean life to the fullest in their honor.

Take care,

Bo
